At Serge Sorokko Gallery - Damien Hirst: New Religion.  What I saw through the windows looked cool anyway.  For some reason the door of the gallery was locked tight when I was there yesterday afternoon.  I stood there pulling on it a few times just to make sure while the Union Square hordes swirled around me.  I had a fantasy that Hirst himself was visiting and they'd had to go into lockdown.  But yeah no formaldahyded animals (that I could see) in this show, mostly works on paper, a few sculptures, and one of the "frozen" butterfly pieces.  I'll have to go back to attempt it again, especially since they're showing some Sol LeWitt work at the same time.  Damn it drives me crazy when galleries aren't open during their published hours.
