birthday skate 4/5/08
I'm turning 32 this year, and I've decided to celebrate by reliving one of my favorite childhood pastimes: roller skating!

I'm not renting a party room or anything, so no RSVP necessary. Just show up ready to fill up on candy and skate to the pop hits of today.

I don't mean to make you feel old, but, holy christ, how can you be turning 32?? You were just 18! Maybe I'm getting senile, but I swear that was just the other day and it seems like you haven't aged a day. :)
by the way, i'm planning a trip to bangkok over thanksgiving this year, and we should chat about if it's feasible to meet up!
Ohhhh ohohoh...I can't believe it! It would be so wonderful to meet up with you there over T-giving. It's a pretty cheap flight to/from Bangkok/Hanoi so one of us should travel. You don't need a visa for either country. I'll do my best though to get to Bangkok, if at all possible. I had been thinking maybe Halong Bay (Vietnam) for a November trip though.
In Bangkok, I can highly recommend the HI-Sukhumvit hostel. It's clean and beautiful and the staff are very friendly and there's internet access on-site. It's located right on the Skytrain so you can get all around very easily. Additionally, it's located on the street where the night food market is. You can eat the most amazing Thai food there for $1 a plate.
by the way i just ate at cha-ya for the first time tonight, and now i am portly. damn it was good.
